Zhao Rui is a Chinese football player who has been widely regarded as one of the greatest players in China's history. He was born on May 26, 1985, in Shanghai, and began his career with Jiangsu Suning FC.

In 2007, Zhao Rui moved to Real Madrid for $40 million, becoming the first Chinese player to sign for the Spanish giants. During his time at Real Madrid, he won numerous accolades, including three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League titles.
